i say covert christian because initially doing everything under the banner of christ is not necessary…just do it because we know why is sometimes enough.

I keep hearing how loving one another in the same way that God loves us is impossible. For every argument against it, I can come up with a handful of arguments on why it is so easy to love one another.
Remaining calm on the freeways. SoCal is a lesson in patience, and I have been known to have none. So I will make the world a better place by what I WON’T do…yell, honk, share a finger with somebody. I’ll slip some Norah Jones into the music machine and chill on my drive home…
Don’t buy too many florescent bulbs too quickly since the mercury content in them could damage the environment worse in landfills than the good ole bulbs are doing for global warming. ;-)
1. I redid a brochure for the library in color this morning.
2. I told my son how stinking cool he was, that I loved him, and let him a bowl of ice cream for breakfast.
Small things at first, but perhaps the pebbles that start the ripples of change. Perhaps its the small, unseen acts that make a world of difference.
I remember hearing a speaker say this at a conference I was at. My response was…DUH! Then I thought about it. I think too much about what I could do and in doing so, I have not seen and taken advantage of things God has placed in front of me. I think it is good to think and plan, but not to the point that our agenda keeps us from hearing that simple small voice. God appoints us opportunities everyday.
So my “Do something” would be a prayer. To hear God speak today as he brings me the opportunities to love and minister for Him.

I mowed the yard…I think my neighbors will appreciate that.
I’m typing on my new Apple Keyboard. It makes me happy which will make the world a better place by default.
