Justin wrote me an email with this great Mother’s Day idea!
Here?s a cool idea I?d like to share. Today I?ve decided my kids and I are going to sponsor a Compassion Child as a mother?s day gift for my wife. I?m going to have my kids help me pick a child from the website, then we?re going to draw pictures of him or her and give those as my wife?s card (along with a massage gift certificate!)
I think I’ll write her a note in my card that goes something like: “You have given US so much love and compassion, we’re passing it on to someone else. Thanks for being a mom that brings out the best in us.”
Just a little throw down/inspiration for some of the other guys out there!
What a super cool idea. If it sounds like something you’d like to do, just click here to begin finding that special kid you can sponsor for Mother’s Day!
You won’t just be giving a huge gift to your mom, or your wife, you’ll be giving an amazing gift to another mom all the way around the world.

I love this idea…How sweet and rewarding!
That brought tears to my eyes!! Now I know the perfect gift that I want! :)
The whole time you guys were on your trip I would read all of the blogs and look at all the pictures, KNOWING God was telling me to sponsor a child. My husband hasn’t been hesitant, but just *busy* and overwhelmed to the point of pretty much ignoring me. ;) So this is the perfect way to get that kid sponsored! I’m going to ask for it for Mother’s Day! :)

You can also give one-time donations. If an on-going sponsorship isn’t do-able, people can give donations in mom’s name to the Unsponsored Children’s fund.

Now that is a great idea!!!!
We just received our sponsor child information this morning. We left it in the hands of God to choose our child for us. He chose a boy for us from India. He is name in Bhubana. Thanks to Anne and all the bloggers, they encouraged us to do this.
We cant wait to send off our first letter and pictures to him. I am hoping he was really thrilled when he got the news he was being sponsored. I know we were thrilled when we found out who he was.
