Taking Another Blogging & Twitter Break

At least for a little while. Be back soon.

Somewhere we know that without silence words lose their meaning, that without listening speaking no longer heals, that without distance closeness cannot cure. – Henri Nouwen

I love and appreciate the wisdom you show in making this choice. You benefit yourself and those you love. You honor Christ by being obedient to what He’s asking of you. And as a “woman of influence” ( mmm – no pressure there, huh?!), you are modeling something powerful for those who follow your lead.

Blessings during this time of quietness …

Thanks. Just to clarify for some people who have asked on Twitter and such, I have a few busy weeks ahead and speaking at two churches out of town the next two weekends. I need to quiet the non essential right now so I can listen to THE essential and pray that it overflows to these opportunities with which I’ve been trusted.

Time outs are good. I like Carol’s comments. Be with people who give life. I sat by a raging river this evening…the on-going stream reminded me of the need to hear from the Maker of it all things. Who said, “Come to me…and find—AHHHHHHHHHHH- rest.” Right? Rest on, girlfriend. Mike Foster and I are buddies. I like it that you mention him and Jud in your fav reads. Very cool. Be well.
