Oh, where to begin!
There are so many things I adore about?Seth Godin (and I know many of you feel the same), but?one thing I love most is his ability to collaborate and communicate in quick, memorable ways. He cuts through the junk and leaves you with a thought that will leave you thinking for days (if not?months years indefinitely).
Seth released a free (of course!) eBook today with 72 brief (about 200 words each) and meaningful snapshots from people all over the world, including one from yours truly, asking us to share a few words on?what matters now.

My little snippet is on page 6, and is titled?Fear. Because I think so often that fear stops us dead in our tracks.
How do we move forward when all we hear is fear filling us up with impossibility?
Some of my favorite contributors to this project are?Seth Godin,?Elizabeth Gilbert,?Jessica Hagy,?Jacqueline Novogratz,?Howard Mann,?Michael Hyatt,?Steven Pressfield, Megan Casey,?Merlin Mann,?Penelope Trunk,?Arianna Huffington, and?Dan Roam (and many others – these were just a handful!)
What Matters Now is totally free, totally inspiring, and the time you spend reading through it will definitely be the best fifteen minutes of your day.

Just click the image below to download your copy (and share it with a friend or two or forty-seven).
And, since we’re all about free downloads today, I thought I’d also point you in the direction of two free downloads from my first book Mad Church Disease, and a free excerpt from my forthcoming book, Permission to Speak Freely.
- Chapter 3 from Mad Church Disease – Internal Risk Factors
- Chapter 11 from Mad Church Disease – Processing through Pain
- The prologue to Permission to Speak Freely – Meet Fear (where my blurb in Seth’s eBook was adapted from).
Happy free reading Monday! :)

Congratulations!
Downloaded this from his site early this morning and was thrilled to see and read a post from you in it.
You say Seth writes things that has you thinking indefinitely – well, I’ll be thinking about your thoughts on fear for a long time. I’m going to print it out, so I read it regularly.
Again congrats on being included in this e-book!
thanks for your kind words. it is an honor to be a part!
Congrats. Seth is a genius. No doubt. Will be curious to see how many times this e-book is downloaded and shared.. and how fast. Also curious to watch the pre-order sales rankings of his new book and the trickle down traffic impact on contributors… such as you. :) It’s a win-win. Great insight from collaborators, seeded with actions of Good, mobilized by the viral nature of the web.
a perfect storm!
I’m one of those huge Seth Godin fans, so I’m extremely (!) excited to hear that you have a part in his new project. I think one of the things I’ve enjoyed about him, and something he’s really growing into more and more, is his ability to reach out and care about other people’s projects.
I’ve learned so much from him, but going into the new year, I think this collaborative aspect of his work is what I’m going to focus on copying the most.
Congratulations, and thank you for pointing to him from your site. Already the Internet is fired up about this. It’s amazing.

Hey Anne,
great to hear and read about the book.
Who cares about sales, traffic etc. Its the healing that can come from what you write that counts.
Your radical transparency is inspiring and challenging!
Keep it up!

Hey, cool website. I actually came across this on Ask Jeeves, and I am really happy I did. I will definately be returning here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table, but am just absorbing as much info as I can at the moment.
Thank You
