Okay, that was depressing. I know it was meant to be lighthearted and tongue-in-cheek but I don’t think it was pulled off very well. There is a very small subset of people who get this joke. To the rest of the people out there who may view the video it will just reinforce negative sterotypes about christians, pastors and church people.
Too bad we have given those stereotypes meaning, huh?

our children's pastor got a call yesterday DURING our t-day dinner – a lady member was upset because her turkey was burned and she needed advice on what stores might be open so she could buy a smoked turkey. i took the phone from the pastor, just to help out you know, and sent the lady to a town 40 miles away – to walmart. i figured one good turkey deserves another. :)
OK, but on the negative side a bit. There are many POSITIVES about being married to a pastor. I share that from experience. Someone should do one from the other point of view! But I know it was in fun, so in that spirit I say Happy Thanksgiving and may everyone have a blessed Christmas.

If we can’t laugh at ourselves…well…I promise there are those who are laughing AT us, not with us! Funny part was…while watching this, had volume up, and phone on desk set to vibrate…didn’t here it vibrating until the very end…absolutely hilarious!!!
