Nope I have not taken the plunge. Im a little hesitant with popular things and fads… Plus I get to save myself a few hundred dollars…
I don’t need one, and I can’t justify wanting one when people are starving to death.

Got one as a Christmas present last year and still love it which is amazing to say after almost 7 months!! I am a techie and a mac fan, so it completely made sense, plus it was great to help figure out Nashville since we had recently moved here and then moved to a different area.

My free Nokia phone (with broken cover), still receives/sends text messages and handle calls quite well.

No A T & T coverage in this part of the country! (MT and WY). And we actually are doing “just fine” without iphones, believe it or not. Not that it wouldn’t be a fun toy to have…

People are such marketing tools. Only in America will people dip into the college fund and camp for a week to see Miley Cyrus in “concert”, pay $25 for a t-shirt to advertise for the company that has their name on it but imported the shirt from india…. and it looks like a soccer game was played on it, and stand in line for a TELEPHONE that will still be on sale tomorrow and be replaced with a newer version by Christmas.

Ditto on Verizon. But actually it was a matter of Verizon not snuggling up to Apple from what I think I read. Verizon is trying to make a hit with their own media network. Right . . . I hear so many people talking about how great Verizon media content is on their phones . . . ha ha ha.

Lord willing, I will never buy an iPhone or any other apple product. On the news this morning, I saw the lines forming on the sidewalks outside of Mac stores. Reminds me of the lines at WalMart at Christmas time filled with people trying to get their hands on the newest tickle me elmo doll.
only if i can get it for free. just like a few people above … i can’t justify it when at&t gives me an absolutely free phone that works just fine (and also breaks less than any other phone) every two years.

I’m counting down the number of days it will take for my husband to “give” me his “old” iPhone. He will request one on our anniv this sept. I mentioned before on this site how funny it was (to me) when he dropped it in our backyard pond a few weeks ago.
It’s a luxury I can live without. When so many people in the world can’t afford a stamp to send a letter, I can settle for making calls with 2 year old cell phone.

I just got off the phone with a rep at the local mall apple store here in ga for an unrelated mac issue. during small talk he said there were at least 150+ people in line waiting to get this crazy new phone. they are all so cool – i want to be like them…

I know one thing that I regret NOT buying from Apple: Apple’s stock when iPod first came out.
Umm, no will not be getting one. First because we can only get Verizon coverage where we live. Second because, well just because. Hubby just got a blackberry a few months ago and is very pleased with it. I don’t really have a need for a phone that does all that. Though I do have my eye on a new phone, just not an iphone.

1. I have been a loyal Sprint customer for more than 10 years. I love them and would never pick up Cingular/AT&T.
2. I don’t have $300 to blow on a phone. My Blackberry cost me $99 and that is the most I have ever or will ever spend on a phone.

God-willing, no, not ever. I don’t hate them and if given one for free (along with the plan), sure I’ll use it. But our pre-paid plan works great for us.

no AT&T in my town…so they won’t sell us a plan. And since Apple has a little romantic relationship with AT&T…. i get no iPhone. Not sure I could afford on anyway.
