i’ll be teaching along side pastor joe carmichael at community of hope church in mansfield, tx.
community of hope is in a “…like dummies” series and this weekend will be “working like dummies.”
we’ll be talking about the effects of stress and burnout, what happened to some people who got burned out in the bible, and steps you can take to prevent it and heal from it!

Lord Father, you have given the world a gift in Anne. Thank you for her heart for you and her heart for your servants. Be with her and speak through her as she shares about this crazy, busy thing we call life. Help your desire for our sabbath to be real to those who hear. Go before Anne to prepare hearts and go after Anne to change lives. Amen.

I totally understand now. I really didn’t see the connection between the Monster Truck Rally and the Sunday thing. I should have though…it’s all over the internet. I honestly didn’t think they HAD monster truck rallies on Sunday. That’s not an issue of my ADD, but my IQ. Not much I can do about that one…

Lord Father,
Indwell in her and fill her mouth with Your words. Let this be a comforting word to those who need it. Fill that church with your presence with your love and mercy. Bring rest to those who need it.
We will be so careful to praise Your Holy Name.

Lord Jesus, you are the Living Word of God. You said that your words would never return to you void. Your promises you do not break. Thank you Jesus that your yoke is easy and your burden is light. Thank you that your Spirit will provide Anne with the fruit of peace. Thank you that your Spirit will speak to the condition of your bride, the bride who needs to rest well when it’s time to rest – to be good stewards of what you’ve given her. I thank you that your words will be spoken through Anne and that she is protected from any spirit of fear or rejection. In your name I pray – for your glory and honour – Amen.

As the song puts it so well spoken….passing the faith along to another…I pray for you and the Pastor as a team, and as you are speaking each person hearing you will be invigorated and strengthened with all power, love and insight! …Giiving praise to You Father, through Him and asking Him to meet the needs of people who come – spirit, soul, and body and the needs of the ministry.
Being the PW (Pastor’s Wife) I must be here at our church undergirding and edifying my husband of course. But, please know God’s words are alive in you, so go forth in power and wisdom because you have a way of reaching hurting people. I had to laugh with Jeremy about the Monster Truck Thing (even in South Florida we have Monster Truck Shows)…but what I really wanted you to know is that you are being prayed for as you prepare for this weekend all the way down in Ft. Lauderdale.

Thank you, Lord, for sending Anne to speak down the road in Decatur, AL. And for this church, where they are willing to confront stereotypes and expose the problems and temptations both men and women face. May this open the door for more honesty, empathy, and loving accountability among women in this area.
