This will be my last “Fat Ragamuffin” update (I hope!)
If you are new here, you are probably thinking, “Now, what the heck is a Fat Ragamuffin? Sounds tasty though…” A few months ago, I really wanted to get into shape. So did my friend Los. And a bunch of other people (listled on his blog). We were supposed to post our weight weekly for a certain amount of time.
You can click the “Fat Ragamuffin” category link and see how I progressed but I am proud to report I have consistently (that is the key word!) maintained my goal weight (140ish) for the last two months and plan on keeping it that way. So, Mr. Ragamuffin Soul, I ask that I graduate from your FR class blogroll. Please send me a diploma.
Below is the progress…it takes time!! It takes effort!! And it will continue to do so.

Thank you, and good night.

moderation & moderate exercise. although i did start running. then i hurt my back because i found out my shoes suck. so when i get new shoes, it’s back to running!
cheese fries were a splurge…as were the chicken tacos. and the chocolate covered strawberry banana things while you were here.
congrats! Hopefully I’ll be a s successful as you are…as I sit eating a slice of pepperoni pizza. ha ha
You are the bravest woman I know, posting your weight on your blog. If I were not a Christian, I’d bow down to you, but that whole “no other gods before me” thing prevents that sort of thing.
Congratulations, Anne!
Wow! Way to go! Very inspiring Anne! And brave too! Many Congrats…
way to go anne. I needto lose weight…and I confess this as I am drinking a venti chai frap. Yep….abstainace makes the heart grow fonder I hear…but right now it is abstaining that gets me.
so great…congrats!
Hey! Updated!
wow… that’s great
Congrats Anne! I’m proud of you. You lost it the right way. It does take time to do it right and healthy.
I lost 50 pounds in 2 years by eating healthier (less meat and more vegetarian) and running. Last November I ran my first Marathon at age 46…..and FINISHED!…..and LIVED to talk about it! When I first started running two years ago, I couldn’t run a mile without stopping three or four times. Today I started training for my 2nd and 3rd marathon I will do in October and November. I’m running them to help others fight heart disease as I did last year. You can keep up with my progress and cheer me on as I will be keeping my blog updated with my progress.
You are a great inspiration to others Anne. Thanks for sharing in transparent and authentic ways.
gaj
awesome… did anyone else stay on track as well as you?
Congrats!!! A couple of years ago I lost a ton of weight…no pun…actually close to a ton ;) It’s great to keep it off too–keep moving and get rid of all your “fat” clothes–that way you have none to ever sneak back into!!!
I’m surprised Mr. Los hasn’t checked in…..someone should let him know.
I’m inspired! congratulations!!!
