With online banking and my love of analyzing everything, I created a graph that shows my Starbucks Spending pattern. Looks like Wednesday spells trouble. Midweek slump maybe? Yikes.

do yo realize that you spent over $230 at starbucks within the last 2 months! that’s crazy. maybe you need to give barb a call, i’ve got her number…j/k. you are so crazy. so what do you think about doing dinner on the 21st maybe?
I love Starbucks…and I remember that one time in your car or that other time in your other car that you showed me your check book register with all those colors…and highlighters. You are my hero for living at Starbucks and documenting it. I love you more today then I did yesterday, or the day before that.
So what do you order? I am more of a tea drinker. If I go to starbucks versus a tea house, I usually order a iced green tea. Last night I actually got a green tea blackberry frappichino, and it was yummy.
Yeah, I know it’s a lot. We were going thru figuring out why we’re broke and that is what inspired me to figure out how much we are spending on nonessentials!
I love you, Kmottfair. I no longer color code my check register, but have moved on to color coding excel spreadsheets.
Tim, I usually get one of the following (in order of most ordered to least)…mocha light frap with extra mocha, grande no fat mocha, tall hot chocolate, or tall mocha
As you can see, I like chocolate! :)
i am more scared than any thing else.
I had some *$ today….. but, I think I’ve had at least 1 every day but maybe 1 or 2 days since I returned from Chicago – 2 WEEKS AGO!!!
I’m scared to graph how much I’ve spent!!!
MMMMM…… COFFEE…. :)
$65 dollars on coffee!!!! In one day!!!!! YOWZA
I can’t wait to try the green tea blackberry frappichino. Maybe I’ll go tonight :)
I don’t know if Beth is blogging elsewhere….Strange.
So Sunday is in second place, no big surprise there! Maybe now it will be less since you are less stressed at your new job? Yeah, RIGHT.
guess you better swap starbucks for cafe brazil more often!
good times …. :)
kris – 65 over 2 months of wednesdays – not one day….dude, if i had that much money….. :)
lori – my new job gives me more time to enjoy the bucks!
krisk – you know i am down with that girl!! it was so fun hanging out with everyone last night!
how funny… :)
i freaking love starbucks and i’ll go broke for it.
Thank God….I totally missed the whole April/May 2006 in big bold letters…yeah
I keep stopping by just to feel close to you and Starbucks at the same time.
Wow. My wife and analyzed our eating out and spent well over $500 one month. Eye opener.
I love Starbucks too. My favorite is the White Chocolate Mocha (no whip cream, it ruins it for me). I think that’s why I don’t carry cash with me. I’d spend it all on coffe then have to figure out how to get there cause I have no gas, cause I spent it all on Starbucks!

I feel a lot better about my budget today. Well, okay, except for my scrapbooking category!
You know that I am the budget queen, so I am mortified by these #s. More so, I am concerned for the acidic value in your system. Do you guys have Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Stores in your new area? Thats my favorite!!!!!!!
Wow! You’re rich!!
Hi Anne! Hope things are going well for you in TX!
I stinkin’ love Starbucks. I used to work there so I think that’s when I got addicted. I’m so mad they got rid of the cinnamon dolce latte. I know it’s seasonal, but i’d get it all year round if I could. I bought a bottle of it so I could make them at home, but it’s not the same. Starbucks are abound in Charlotte so that makes me happy :) And hey, if it fits into your budget, don’t feel bad. It’s just one of your “things” :)
Maybe I should have gotten you’all a Starbucks gift card for your anniversary. Love ya both and the cats too.
[…] years ago, being the color-coded spreadsheet chart-and-graph making weirdo that i am, i decided to analyze chris’ and my starbucks spending pattern. in april and may 2006, we spent $237.21 (or $118.61/month) on coffee drinks that make us gain […]
