I’ve been asked to come up with some ideas for stations where people can take communion, which will be set up all around a room. So far, I like the ideas of a “cross” station, where you would focus in on reflecting upon the cross and a station where spouses or friends can serve each other. Any other ideas?

We did a cool thing at our church where we at each station we prayed for a specific something, (community, politics, family, unsaved friends) And they had things set up to remind us what we were doing there, like one station was a tithe station, which was actually really cool because it was the first time that it felt like true worship when I tithed, anywho, the last station, was the one we took commuion with our family and it was set up in these really big cups and big pieces of bread….not little bitty pieces, and then later when it was all done someone talked about how during “normal comunion” we are so condioned to the routine of the tiny cracker and little cup, and becuase this was out of the ordinary, it was exactly what Christ would have for us, to feast on Him….Not just nibble. It was beautiful.
Ask Lori…she is a genius with that of stuff.
That of stuff? Nice Steve. That kind of stuff. :)
Anne, ask Ginny and Brian Russell. They did some pretty awesome stuff several months back and posted it with pictures.
